Susan Johnson developed an innovative and personalised curriculum for Longfield School that was introduced in June 2007. The curriculum focuses on an Implementation of Transition curriculum: Personalised Learning and Thinking Skills focus for Year 7.
A condensed two-year key stage 3 curriculum, and a flexible, mixed age option groups at key stage 4, including a one year GCSE option.
Longfield School is working on accelerated curriculum routes to maximise pupil attainment.
