Our focus is to develop Longfield’s mixed age curriculum model a stage further, where the ‘stage not age’ curriculum is offered to pupils across Key stages 3 and 4 (Years 9 – 11).
Building on success with curriculum change and effective use of ICT, opportunities will be sought to address the use of space and time to maximise learning through offering choice for Year 9 pupils.
This project is key to our whole school mission, where the ultimate aim is for 100% of pupils to achieve Level 2 threshold qualifications and to ensure success for all pupils by providing an innovative and personalised curriculum, embracing new technologies and ensuring every child really does matter.
