GRASP stands for GRAMPIAN’S ATTITUDES FOR SUCCESS PROJECT. The objectives are:
• research and identify common attributes of people who have achieved at the highest level within their discipline.
• translate these into a progressive framework of child-friendly steps.
• revise our curriculum framework to facilitate children’s development against these steps
• revise our assessment procedures to focus on pupil aspirations and progression
We’ll measure our success in this project by seeing greater engagement with our curriculum, both for pupils and parents, and accelerated progress in basic skills across the revised curriculum.
