The 21st Century Learning Alliance has launched its Fellowship programme supporting teachers to carry out development or small action-research projects relating to teaching and learning for the 21st century.
Thirteen projects have been selected from around 200 applicants. They each receive a £6,000 bursary. Eight Fellowships have now been completed and there are five new Fellowships for 2011/2012.
Alliance founding member Sir Tim Brighouse said: “We have been staggered by the response and believe we have eight very strong research projects to support over the coming year.”

The bursary provided by the 21st Century Learning Alliance will support the teacher and the school in the research, analysis, documentation and dissemination of the findings.
