Director of e-Learning, The Bishop&#8217;s Stortford High School. Andrew has been Director of e-Learning at the Bishop&#8217;s Stortford High School since 2004. He has led the school in achieving the BECTA ICT mark resulting in becoming joint national winners of BECTA Leadership and Management of ICT award in 2007.</p>
<p>He has been involved in ICT since graduating, in marketing, number or roles outside education including  IBM, GEC Alsthom. He has 17 years experience as a teacher of Business and Economics other roles including Head of Year &#8211; designated senior teacher child protection, Head of Vocational Education, Head of House.</p>
<p>Instrumental in the adoption of VLE technology and advocate of the use of technology to enhance learning, currently working with the University of Hertfordshire on the hand held technologies. His current role to support colleagues in the adoption and use if ICT to enhance the learning experience.</p>
<p>In terms of professional development, MEd read at Cambridge University in 1998-2000 Thesis on the impact of assessment for Learning. Leadership and management of larger schools.  He has completed NCSL SLICT and Leadership Pathways training, he is a GTC Teacher Learning Academy Verifier. Andrew also runs a series of ICT related workshops and course for SSAT and The Eastern Leadership Centre.</p>
