2009 Award Winners

The 21st Century Learning Alliance is delighted to congratulate five schools who were winners of the 2009 Leading Innovation award.

The awards were made by Sir Mike Tomlinson at ‘Seizing Success 2009’, the National College’s annual leadership conference.

The schools were singled out for leading the way in four main aspects of 21st century learning – teaching and learning methods; people, resources and curriculum; time and space.

The two Outstanding Winners were named as Belgrave Primary School in Stoke on Trent and Grampian Primary School in Derby.

Kingsley Special School, Kettering, and Penn Hall School, Wolverhampton, received Highly Commended certificates. Newman Special School in Rotherham picked up a certificate for being shortlisted.
