How to Enter

Each year, the 21st Century Learning Alliance seeks to identify and celebrate the achievements of schools that are excelling in their approach to motivating teachers and learners, transforming people, resources and the curriculum, and enriching their use of the time and space available to them.

Winning schools will receive recognition nationally and amongst their peers during the presentation at the National College’s ‘Seizing Success’ conference in June and will also be involved in a workshop at the conference.

For 2010, the 21st Century Learning Alliance will soon be looking to identify and celebrate the achievements of more schools that are excelling in how they approach key areas of their work or environment. The four areas to be considered for the award are:

  • teaching and learning methods
  • people, resources and the curriculum
  • time
  • space

Schools that make the judges’ shortlist will all be visited by a team of 2-3 educationalists made up from 21st Century Learning Alliance member organisations (SSAT, ASCL, TDA, Partnerships for Schools, etc.).

If you think your school is breaking new ground and has valuable lessons to pass on to other schools in similar circumstances, please do contact us at awards@21stcenturylearningalliance.org.uk, providing an overview of how you think your school qualifies for an award. We will consider all nominations and contact those who nominate themselves with feedback.
